The JENZ Chipper HEM 593 Z is designed for tractors with a drive power of 180 to 475 hp . Its intake width of 1.40 m is 20 cm greater than that of the HEM 583 Z. This makes it much easier to distribute bulky material on the intake table, optimises intake behaviour and results in less idle time for the machine operator.

Long travel distances, widely scattered piles of material with bulky shrubbery and frequent screen basket changes - these challenges can best be met with a universal chipper. In this regard, the HEM 593 Z is ideal and can serve both small combustion plants and large thermal heating plants.

Epsilon M70F101 

JENZ chippers are equipped with a Palfinger Epsilon crane as standard, because they are robust and easy to maintain. Thanks to professional solutions, EPSILON cranes increase the chipper's productivity and allow the operator to fully concentrate on chipping. The M70F101 crane has a 10 m reach to be able to reach material that is further away. The optional splitter is used for any larger logs. As a result, no material is left unprocessed.

Hydraulic discharge

The hydraulic fan can be controlled continuously and independently of the speed of the chipping rotor and can therefore optimally adapt to operating conditions. This ensures more even chip discharge and reduces the load on the hydraulic system. The reduced fan speed reduces the abrasion on the wood chips, which lowers the fines content.

easyChange 
maintenance system

The hydraulic screen basket cover of the HEM 593 Z allows quick and easy access to the rotor. With the push of a button, the cover is opened without having to be screwed on or off. The screen basket can then be changed by crane, as it is freely accessible in the rotor cover. This makes manual lifting and carrying of the screen basket a thing of the past.


Everything needed for maintenance on the rotor is in the optional professional swivel toolbox located directly on the rotor. Included are an air connection, light and useful tools. Maintenance work is facilitated by the sufficient freedom of movement in the screen basket cover.

 Control System 

The new easy2advanced machine control system is a comprehensive update of the familiar easy2 control system. It supports the driver with active feedback, enables flexible, user-orientated settings and ensures a reliable crop flow. This allows the machine to be used even more productively and efficiently.

Drum

Whether fine or coarse chips, the robust D1.2 cutting drum convinces with outstanding chip quality. The regrindable blades enable maximum economy and operational reliability. In addition, the high inertia of the D1.2 ensures very smooth running. This not only protects the drive train, but also leads to improved chip quality.

CFA
Draw-in control system

The CFA and CFA2 intake controls automatically adjust the intake speed to ensure that the chipper is utilised evenly and in a way that is gentle on the machine, and that the wood chips are of optimum quality. CFA adjusts the infeed speed depending on the rotor speed. CFA2 adjusts the infeed speed depending on the opening angle of the upper roller.

DIP 
Roller Pressure System

Due to the variable pre-load pressure of the upper roller, the chipper can adapt to any material. Shrub trimming, for example, requires a higher pressure, while logs are fed in almost without pressure. Thanks to its easy adjustment to respective requirements, the chipper works efficiently and achieves a consistent output.

Efficient screening technology

The innovative screen baskets reliably prevent excessive lengths with a minimum of fine particles. This is particularly noticeable in the processing of cut shrubbery, where the wood is often drawn in crosswise.

Smart 
Hydraulic

The CFA and CFA 2 intake control systems forward material-dependent information to the easy2 control system. The intelligent JENZ Smart Hydraulic system quickly and sensitively adjusts the intake speed. In addition, top roller pressure and the maximum intake speed can be set by the operator at the push of a button.

IPS Impact Protection System

With the IPS (Impact Protection System), sensors detect inadmissible vibrations caused by foreign bodies such as stones or iron parts. The system activates a protection programme that, for example, stops material discharge in 0.8 seconds. This protects the machine from expensive consequential damage and reduces unplanned downtime to a minimum.

Additional 
screen basket

Changing orders mean changing demands on wood chips. The additional screen basket on the screen basket cover facilitates incredible flexibility. The screen basket is simply changed by crane. Lifting and carrying by hand is not necessary.
